"The thoughts and intentions of a person's heart are like deep waters, and a wise counselor draws them out."
PRACTICE MADE PERFECT
Designed and tested by EMDR Consultants and trainees in the US and around the world.
Blink-at-Me was designed in response to the COVID-19 shut down in April 2020 by a therapist who was in the middle of intensive EMDR with a client she had been seeing in person. When the shutdown occurred, she, along with one of our developers, designed and built a system that allowed her to not only meet with her client virtually, in a HIPAA compliant manner, but administer bilateral stimulation at the same time. Recent research regarding the efficacy of Binaural Beats on sleep and anxiety is also increasing and becoming an industry focus, so they included this enhancement in the system as well*.
We created Blink-at-Me to not only deliver EMDR to the client virtually, but to emulate the personal client/therapist experience received in an in-office visit. We have collaborated with EMDR Consultants around the country and some internationally, to give the technology a soft yet robust experience. Blink-at-Me is emerging from within the therapeutic community which helps keep our primary purpose on serving the therapeutic community.
